I have this great idea; I am going to go home tonight and get some books about the Muslim religion and belief system. Then, the next time I come into the office, I am going to spread them all over my desk and open them up to pages full of religious words and sentences. Maybe, instead of Muslim, I will get Satanic books. Books that educate people in the methods of the Satanic Church; its customs, rituals, and sacrifices. Would this be considered offensive to the Christians in the office? I believe it would. In fact, I bet that if I actually pull that maneuver off, I will get into a tad bit of trouble with the Christians and the stupid-assed union that steals money from the workers it supposedly protects. FUCK, THAT REALLY FROSTS ME. Fucking bullshit oppression via a moral turd on the table.
If someone can litter their desk with literature, whose soul purpose (get the joke), is to "expand your soul and secure your place in His Kingdom", then I should be allowed to expose anyone within a earshot to whatever I want as well.
I just get so pissed when I see people at work reading or preaching the bible. I want so badly to listen to Slayer or Zappa or Morbid Angel while I perform my daily duties. But no, that is not possible because people could find the lyrics offensive and harmful. GO FIGURE. That's exactly what I think about your waste of time. Keep the bible out of schools and the workplace, and maybe CrittendenIV will be a happier co-worker.
